Steven Valencsin

In 2018 Valencsin was selected as one of Forbes: 30under30 for his work at Growers in helping farmers all across the world make data-driven decisions that have resulted in the reduction of 100s of millions of tons of fertilizers, while greatly increasing on farm profitability and sustainability. Steven’s entrepreneurial spirit and passion for farming has led to groundbreaking advancements within Precision Agriculture.

Gabriel Wilmoth

Gabriel Wilmoth is a former Investment Director at Syngenta Ventures and graduate of Harvard Business School. At Syngenta, he led investments in Blue River Technology (acquired by John Deere), Greenlight Bio, Asilomar and several others. Gabriel is passionate about developing technologies that make agriculture more productive and more sustainable.

Michael Cully

VP, Sales and Marketing
Michael Cully is an international business executive with extensive expertise in building and implementing new business strategies from the ground up in the areas of global business development and strategy, corporate development, government/public affairs, brand strategy, channel development, and corporate sustainability. Michael has degrees from Princeton University and the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies. His background includes positions of increasing responsibility at Andersen Consulting, the International Finance Corporation (IFC), AGCO Corporation and JCB.

Michael Droz​

VP, Products​

Michael is a champion of digital innovation and creativity. With a focus on creating products that act as innovative force multipliers, he was previously the chief architect of the Climate Corporation’s digital ag platform strategy. As product and engineering manager for Visa’s digital payments platform, he managed teams and products responsible for processing approximately 50% of all internet based credit card transactions, in excess of $10 billion annually. A passionate ten year industry veteran widely recognized as both coach and mentor, he has been a featured speaker, judge, and leader of multiple hackathons, including NASA’s annual Space Apps Hackathon Challenge, and the UC Davis Apps for Ag Hackathon.

Andrew Hosch

VP, Engineering
Andrew began his technical career in security and compliance testing for the Department of Defense and the National Security Agency. With over 15 of years experience, Andrew has worked for large corporations such as Boeing, run engineering teams for startups, and managed multi-million dollar P&L responsibilities. Andrew excels at bringing software from concept to successful deployment. He has a degree from McGill University and is currently enrolled at the London School of Economics.

Duncan Kerr

Duncan joined Growers as Financial Controller in November 2018. Immediately before joining Growers, Duncan was the Senior Controller for one of the largest IT Staffing Companies in the US. Previously, Duncan was a Partner with Rankin McKenzie (RM), a regional firm that provides part-time and interim CFO and Controller services to businesses. During Duncan’s time with RM, he worked with over a dozen different companies that represented a wide range of industries, including semiconductors, software development (SaaS & Enterprise), and healthcare products.
