Joe Procopio Joins GROWERS as Chief Product Officer, Bringing Extensive Leadership and Innovation in Product Development

Procopio’s career journey is marked by notable achievements. Before joining GROWERS, he served as the Chief Product Officer at Spiffy, a technology-driven mobile vehicle maintenance company. During his tenure, he owned the roadmap for a full-stack service-on-demand platform with over 10 web and mobile apps, established strategic partnerships with renowned companies, and contributed significantly to the company’s growth and success.
Before Spiffy, Procopio co-developed the first commercially available Natural Language Generation/Generative AI platform at Automated Insights, Inc. He helped lead the company through significant milestones, including $11.5 million in venture capital funding and eventual acquisition by Vista Equity Partners. His leadership at Automated Insights contributed to the platform’s continued use by major entities like Yahoo Fantasy Football and the Associated Press.
Additionally, Procopio has founded and bootstrapped several startups, including ExitEvent, a startup network and services marketplace that was acquired by Capital Broadcasting Company.
